True Heroes Films is a visual communication organisation dedicated to human rights, based in Geneva — the centre of international human rights work. We work alongside international institutes and organisations to inform, inspire and equip people, using visual communication, storytelling and structured knowledge.

International human rights take shape in Geneva — treaties, procedures, review cycles, findings. This platform brings that within reach and makes it workable where people actually are: to strengthen the rule of law, and to protect those who need protection.

The same platform is used in several ways. Organisations have e-learning and training modules built from the whole body of sources here, so a module evolves as those sources do. Teachers and trainers use it to teach human rights: films and stories, and plain explanations of how rights, procedures and institutions actually work, so young people see why standing up for rights and democracy is worth it. Cities use it to put human rights into daily practice, starting from what people actually run into. Journalists find sources and context.

The platform is organised in three pillars — Engage, Equip and Defend — each with its own modules.

The modules hold the knowledge. Paths are curated routes through it, put together for a particular group or question. The knowledge in the modules keeps deepening, and the paths built on them grow with it.
